A Lake Favorite
From burgers to lobster tails, it's always paradise at this popular Lake waterfront restaurant. Paradise is a casual place with an easy-going attitude where you will find great music and a large menu. Come on in wearing your flip flops to enjoy the killer view where chefs prepare food fresh and made-to-order.
Iowa natives and brothers Gregory and George Tucker own Paradise at the 24-mile mark by water and off of TT in Sunrise Beach by land.
"We came down here on a whim after I quit my job in the commodities field. Neither of us knew anything about the restaurant business but didn't think twice about this new endeavor," George says. They acquired Paradise in the spring of 2007. It was founded in 1988 by John and Judy Civitate.
Over the years they've added on and completely upgraded the property to what now includes new docks, a wave break, a sports bar and remodeled bathrooms. This year, you can catch your favorite game on any of the 10 TVs added to the wall.
In addition to a full menu, there are daily specials. Sunday evenings is the Captain Morgan Backyard BBQ starting at 5 p.m. Live music, drink specials, and a 6-foot grill is brought out where they cook all your favorites like beer can chicken, brats, burgers, baked potatoes, and sweet corn.
Enjoy live music Wednesday-Sundays. Check out www.paradiseatthelake.com for a full schedule.
