Big Weekend for Sports at Paradise Tropical Restaurant!!

Who's excited for some great games this weekend?? For anyone looking for a fun place to watch the game, Paradise Tropical Restaurant & Bar is the place to be! The best sports bar at the Lake of the Ozarks will be broadcasting all your favorite teams today through Sunday, so grab a cold one and come cheer them on with us!

St. Louis Cardinals

There are some big games coming up for the Cardinals this weekend as they attempt to clinch the division title! With only ten games left in the season, every game is critical for the Cards. Come on by tonight to see them beat the Brewers, or over the weekend as they have a three-game series with the Reds! Game times are tonight (Thursday) at 7:15 PM, Friday at 7:15 PM, Saturday at 6:15, and Sunday at 7:00 PM.

Kansas City Royals

For all you Royals fans, come on in to watch the pivotal series this weekend against the Detroit Tigers. The Royals are only a half-game back from winning the American League Central Title... Should be fun to watch! Game times are Friday at 7:10 PM, Saturday at 12:05 PM, and Sunday at 1:10 PM.

St. Louis Rams

If football is more your style, the Rams will attempt to continue their winning ways against the Dallas Cowboys in the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis on Sunday! Game time is 12:00 PM. Go Rams!

Kansas City Chiefs

Calling all you Kansas City fans! Come in and watch the Chiefs beat up on the Fish when they take on Miami at 3:25 PM. This will be the week that they get their first win of the season!

Irish Nachos: Fried potato slices topped with melted cheese, real bacon pieces, jalapenos, and sour cream.

Buffalo Bites: Mouthwatering boneless chicken bites bathed in our secret hot sauce OR sweet BBQ sauce - the choice is yours!

Art was born near Memphis, Tennessee, raised in West Plains, Missouri, and is now based out of Springfield, Missouri. Art has been performing for over a decade and has self-produced seven albums. Now, he's coming right here to the Lake's best waterfront resturant!

Shootout Poker Run on Friday!!

Ladies and gentlemen, one of the Lake's biggest and best annual events is back! Paradise Tropical Restaurant is excited to announce the Shootout Poker Run on this Friday, August 22nd. We will be open 9:00 AM - late, so come out and see us any time!

Paradise Restaurant is one of eight stops you'll make along the poker run. Collect one new card at each stop to get a total of eight cards - then pick the best five to be your poker hand!

Entry Fee

The entry fee is $150 and includes one poker hand, two t-shirts, breakfast for two, two dinner or drink coupons, one Captain's Bag, and one DVD. 

Registration

Register at Captain Ron's on Thursday, August 21 from 4:00-9:00 PM, or at Backwater Jack's on Friday, August 22nd at 8:00 AM. Poker run will begin at Backwater Jack's at 10:30 AM.

Payouts

Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, as well as the worst 5-card hand!

Want More?

Additional poker hands may be purchased for $45 apiece. You can also buy extra cards for your hands for $20 apiece. Additional t-shirts and DVDs may also be purchased for $20 each. All of the proceeds from this event will go to benefit local charities!

It's going to be a great day on the water. Don't forget to refuel your bodies with some of the best food at the Lake of the Ozarks, and finish it off with any of Paradise Restaurant's delicious desserts! We can't wait to see you.
