Join us at Tucker's Shuckers for Mardi Gras Pub Crawl 2016

Saturday February 20th marks the highly anticipated off-season event, the Lake of the Ozarks Pub Crawl. The event brings in party-goers from all over to celebrate in Mardi Gras fashion. This will be the event's 15th anniversary and it has continued to grow in number of participants, sponsors, and venues, including some of the best restaurants at Lake of the Ozarks.

Mardi Gras Pub Crawl

Instead of charging a cover at each location, $10 is all you need to partake in the biggest party at Lake of the Ozarks. These $10 wristbands can be purchased at any of the participating locations, including our sister restaurant Tucker's Shuckers, on the night of the event or beforehand.

What Your $10 Wristband Includes:

Entry into the 20+ restaurants/bars
Entertainment at every venue
Bus drop off/pick up at every restaurant/bar
Bus transportation to the participating hotels/motels

The Pub Crawl Routes

Over 30 buses will begin running at 4:00pm between the various locations, as well as hotel shuttles from lodging facilities. With our designated drivers, there is no need to drive. Your most difficult decision should be deciding on your pub crawl route.

Dance & Dine at Tucker's Shuckers

While we would love for the weather to be warm enough for you to enjoy the best waterfront dining at the Lake of the Ozarks, Paradise Tropical Restaurant is a bit shy of re-opening for the season. However, you can join us at Tucker's Shuckers, featuring DJ Geefer Sutherland at 7:30pm this Saturday during the Pub Crawl. Both the upstairs and downstairs bars will be open for dining and drinks. Enjoy cajun cuisine, oysters on the half-shell and over 28 beers on tap at Tucker's Shuckers. They have the largest covered deck on the Bagnell Dam Strip, which is perfect for relaxing and people watching! We're looking forward to the 2016 season at Paradise Restaurant & Bar, but for now, we'll see you at Tucker's Shuckers on Saturday!

Thanksgiving is almost here! Family and friends will be gathering from far and wide to celebrate the holiday with their loved ones. We have all been celebrating Thanksgiving for as long as we can remember, but how much do you know about this fun family holiday?

Crazy Facts About Thanksgiving

1. Benjamin Franklin wanted the turkey to be United States' national bird.

2. A 30-pound male turkey will eat 75-80 pounds of feed during its lifetime.

3. Canadians also celebrate Thanksgiving, but their holiday is held on the second Monday in October.

4. Texas, North Carolina, Louisiana, and Arizona all have cities with the word "turkey" in their name.

5. The heaviest domestic turkey on record weighed 86 pounds.

6. The Pilgrims were the very first people to celebrate Thanksgiving.

7. The average American will consumer 16-18 pounds of turkey throughout the year.

8. Male turkeys are called "toms," and female turkeys are called "hens."

9. The first Thanksgiving feast was held in 1621.

10. Wild turkeys can fly, but commercially raised turkeys cannot.
