Experience a piece of paradise everyday at the best waterfront restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks starting April 1st, 2016. Paradise Restaurant and Bar is well known for its great food and tropical drinks as well as first class entertainment. The 2016 entertainment season will be no different with a lineup of live music that will keep you rocking all summer long! The Norman Jackson Band

The Norman Jackson Band has a high energy soulful vibe. Norman Jackson grew up in Detroit and Chicago, singing alongside Ben E. King, Sam Cooke, and P. Funk to name a few. He has a genuine voice and is an absolute prodigy as a guitarist. Rick Shortt plays the saxophone and is the fire of the band. His energy leaves you wanting more. You can groove to the soothing sound of The Norman Jackson Band on May 7th at 7 PM.

Cuz I Said So

Cuz I Said So is a local band that plays a variety of pop, rock, and punk. They cover bands like Poison, Rolling Stones, Goo Goo Dolls, Billy Joel, Bob Seger, Metallica, and much more. They play a perfect mix of 80's, 90's, and 2000's, with a 70's tune thrown in for the heck of it! Cuz I Said So keeps the crowd fired-up the whole night with their blend of popular covers and original songs. You can check them out on May 21st at 7 PM.

Alex Hoffer

Alex Hoffer plays a fusion of blues, funk, rock and Americana. He is from the Chicagoland area and has built a loyal following there as well as the Mid-West. Alex Hoffer is a multi-talented musician playing guitar and harmonica along with vocals. If you want to catch some homegrown music, come by for an afternoon set on May 28th at 12 PM.

Steven D. Hunt

The Steven D. Hunt show is truly one-of-a kind. He is a live solo performer and loops acoustic, electric, and bass guitars with drums, percussion, keyboard, harmonica, and more. Along with his dynamic voice, he creates a powerful one-man band. His music has a familiar feel and vibe, and inevitably becomes stuck in your head. You can hear Steven D. Hunt combine his voice and music to create a sound unlike anyone else on June 1st at 7 PM.

Spontaneous Serendipity

Spontaneous Serendipity is a local favorite in the lake area. Drew is a well-traveled musician who has entertained all over the world. He has a love for every genre of music and will keep the crowd coming back for more! Michelle has been involved in numerous choral events, opera scenes, and jazz concerts. With one of the smoothest voices around, Michelle has been a National Anthem singer for the St. Louis Blues hockey team at the Scottrade Center downtown. For an unforgettable time, come listen to the sweet sound of Spontaneous Serendipity on June 3rd at 7 PM.

Welcome Back to Paradise at the Lake of the Ozarks!

Your favorite tropical drinks and mouth-watering entrees are going to be back before you can say "Bird of Paradise"!  The best waterfront restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks is opening up for the season on April 1st. Paradise Restaurant and Bar features a great lunch and dinner menu and live entertainment in a tropical setting at the Lake. Here are some things you can expect at the #1 restaurant at Lake of the Ozarks this season:

Great Food and Drinks

Fantastic food and drink specials are offered daily, so no matter what day you come, we have a deal for you! Start your week off right. On Monday, Long Island Iced Teas are $2 from 9 PM to close. We have a full lunch and dinner menu, prepared with only the freshest ingredients. Try our Taste Teasers. Choose from buffalo wings made three different ways to the Big Kahuna Nachos prepared with a sweet BBQ sauce. We also have a selection of seafood appetizers, such as a shrimp cocktail much more. Our Garden Fresh menu features a blackened chicken salad and a grilled salmon salad. We have a huge selection of burgers and sandwiches, including our popular 'Bird of Paradise', which is a loaded chicken breast with special Paradise seasonings. Dinner entrees include everything from house roasted prime rib to South African lobster tail. There are also plenty of options for the kids and a few specialty desserts to satisfy your sweet tooth! You are sure to find something on the menu to please the whole family.

Find Us By Land or Water

Whether you are traveling by car or boat, we are easy to find! View the directions below and get out to Paradise Restaurant and Bar this season. Great food and drinks, live entertainment and an unforgettable time is waiting for you! 

From Osage Beach: Take the toll bridge, and once you are over the bridge, keep going straight on MM until you come to a T in the road. Take a left onto Tropical Trail. In less than a mile you will see a Paradise billboard on your left, then follow the signs to Paradise.

From Highway 5: Take F Road from Sunrise Beach, then take a left onto Tropical Trail. Drive about 2 miles and you will see a Paradise billboard on your right. Follow the signs to Paradise.

Join us at Tucker's Shuckers for Mardi Gras Pub Crawl 2016

Saturday February 20th marks the highly anticipated off-season event, the Lake of the Ozarks Pub Crawl. The event brings in party-goers from all over to celebrate in Mardi Gras fashion. This will be the event's 15th anniversary and it has continued to grow in number of participants, sponsors, and venues, including some of the best restaurants at Lake of the Ozarks.

Mardi Gras Pub Crawl 

Instead of charging a cover at each location, $10 is all you need to partake in the biggest party at Lake of the Ozarks. These $10 wristbands can be purchased at any of the participating locations, including our sister restaurant Tucker's Shuckers, on the night of the event or beforehand. 

What Your $10 Wristband Includes:

• Entry into the 20+ restaurants/bars
• Entertainment at every venue
• Bus drop off/pick up at every restaurant/bar
• Bus transportation to the participating hotels/motels 

The Pub Crawl Routes

Over 30 buses will begin running at 4:00pm between the various locations, as well as hotel shuttles from lodging facilities. With our designated drivers, there is no need to drive. Your most difficult decision should be deciding on your pub crawl route.

Dance & Dine at Tucker's Shuckers 

While we would love for the weather to be warm enough for you to enjoy the best waterfront dining at the Lake of the Ozarks, Paradise Tropical Restaurant is a bit shy of re-opening for the season. However, you can join us at Tucker's Shuckers, featuring DJ Geefer Sutherland at 7:30pm this Saturday during the Pub Crawl. Both the upstairs and downstairs bars will be open for dining and drinks. Enjoy cajun cuisine, oysters on the half-shell and over 28 beers on tap at Tucker's Shuckers. They have the largest covered deck on the Bagnell Dam Strip, which is perfect for relaxing and people watching! We're looking forward to the 2016 season at Paradise Restaurant & Bar, but for now, we'll see you at Tucker's Shuckers on Saturday!

some incredible memories were made in 2015 at our waterfront bar at Lake of the Ozarks. Thanks to our fantastic customers, we had a great season at Paradise! What does the 2016 season have in store for you? Our spring opening of course! Let's take a look at what's coming up at Lake of the Ozarks' best waterfront restaurant next year!

1. More Live Entertainment

The best bar at Lake of the Ozarks is known for its amazing live entertainment options. Last year we brought in some of the finest cover bands and local groups to keep all of our customers rocking and jamming all night long! This year, we're going after even more musicians, making 2016 a year to remember. More live music, more entertainment and more fun at Lake of the Ozarks' best restaurant on the water!

2. Amazing Menu Items

Paradise Tropical Restaurant just wouldn't feel like paradise if the food wasn't mouthwatering. For 2016, we're bringing back all our favorite menu items, from the popular Irish Nachos to our Cajun Fried Lobster. Come out and try the amazing Crab & Macadamia Nut Won Tons, complete with a sweet Thai chili sauce. If crab isn't your style, try our mouthwatering buffalo wings. Careful - they have a spicy kick!

3. Full-Size Water Bar

Going out on the boat isn't complete without stopping by our waterfront bar for an ice cold drink with your friends. Thanksgiving is almost here! Family and friends will be gathering from far and wide to celebrate the holiday with their loved ones. We have all been celebrating Thanksgiving for as long as we can remember, but how much do you know about this fun family holiday? 

Paradise Tropical Restaurant is here to equip you with some fascinating, little-known facts about Thanksgiving. With these tidbits up your sleeve, you'll be the life of your Thanksgiving party!

Crazy Facts About Thanksgiving

1.  Benjamin Franklin wanted the turkey to be United States' national bird.

2.  A 30-pound male turkey will eat 75-80 pounds of feed during its lifetime.

3.  Canadians also celebrate Thanksgiving, but their holiday is held on the second Monday in October.

4.  Texas, North Carolina, Louisiana, and Arizona all have cities with the word "turkey" in their name.

5.  The heaviest domestic turkey on record weighed 86 pounds.

6.  The Pilgrims were the very first people to celebrate Thanksgiving.

7.  The average American will consumer 16-18 pounds of turkey throughout the year.

Fall Harbor Hop - The Rules

Participating in the Fall Harbor Hop is easy! All you have to do is jump in the boat and come visit your favorite waterfront destinations at the Lake of the Ozarks (like Paradise Tropical Restaurant & Bar!). After paying your optional $20 entry fee, you'll pick up one card at each location you visit until you have a complete poker hand (you can purchase multiple hands if you want). If desired, you can also buy an eighth bonus card for $5.

Fall Harbor Hop - The Prizes

So why participate in the Harbor Hop, other than taking advantage of the chance to enjoy our beautiful Lake? Because players will get the chance to win some great prizes! Here's a quick down of the prizes that will be awarded this year:

• 1st Place: 10%
• 2nd Place: 9%
